Example Outline with Exaggerated Healingtek Verbiage

Reverend Kenneth E. Hagin was bedfast at the age of 16. He had a deformed heart and an incurable blood disease. Doctors told him he would not live past 16. He began reading through the Bible – the New Testament. The following passage became highlighted to him.

Mark 5:25-34 “Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, and had suffered many things from many physicians. She had spent all that she had and was no better, but rather grew worse. When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. For SHE SAID, “If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well.” Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” But His disciples said to Him, “You see the multitude thronging You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’ ” And He looked around to see her who had done this thing. But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WELL. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

In Mark 5:34 the Inward voice of the Holy Spirit said to him, “Did you notice in Mark 5:34 concerning the woman with the issue of blood that Jesus said to her, ‘Daughter thy faith has made thee whole,’ and that it was HER faith that healed her?”

Then that Inward Voice said, “If that woman’s faith made her whole, then your faith can make you whole.” He said regarding that revelation, “I was on my way! I didn’t have to find some definite promise in the Bible that said, “Yes, it is God’s will to heal you.” I just knew then that God honored faith and if her faith could bring healing to her, my faith could bring healing to me!

Reverend Hagin continued to study the Word of God upon the bed of affliction. He knew he had received revelation regarding the woman in Mark 5. He believe whole heartedly that if HER faith could make her whole – then HIS faith could make him whole. He knew it – yet he knew there was something else. Yet – something he was missing.

He continued reading through the book of Mark. He came to Mark chapter 11. Because he was reading his Bible he gave the Holy Spirit a legal right to lead and guide him. He became drawn to Mark chapter 11. Somehow he knew that there was something in that one chapter for him.

Eventually he was drawn to Mark 11:23. Here the scriptures DID what the scriptures DO. The scriptures are alive. This scripture leaped out to his heart. It became highlighted by the power of the Teacher – the Holy Ghost. So specific and exact was this leading that even particular words within the scripture spoke to Him. The word SAY branded him.

Mark 11:23, “For assuredly I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, “Be removed and be cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he SAYS wil be done, he will have whatever he SAYS.

Immediately he saw it! He needed to start SAYING what he believed! In his own words he speaks of this.

“There’s no telling how many THOUSANDS of times I’d quoted Mark 11:23 and 24. On the bed of sickness at the point of death, NEARLY ALL NIGHT LONG, I’d hang onto those verses. I’d say them over and over again. So there’s no telling how many thousands of times I’d quoted these verses….” These two verses are the Scriptures that that brought me off the bed of sickness more than 50 years ago. These verses brought healing to my body from an almost total paralyzed condition, an incurable blood disease, and two serious organic heart troubles. Actually, I was healed by a combination of both of these verses. As I said, when you pray, you still have to SAY. And it was on the bed of sickness after I’d prayed that I said, “I BELIEVE I RECEIVE HEALING.” I SAID IT OUT LOUD, NOT THINK, THAT I BELIEVED I RECEIVED HEALING, AND IT WAS THEN THAT I BEGAN TO AMEND…” Jesus didn’t say, “Whosoever shall THINK, he shall have whatsoever he THINKETH. He said, “…whosoever shall SAY…HE SHALL HAVE WHATSOEVER HE SAYETH.”

I began to say out loud on my bed, “I believe I receive healing for my body,” and I specified the things I was believing. I said, “I believe I receive healing of the heart condition, the paralysis, and the blood disease.” And then finally, in case I missed something, I just said, “I believe I receive healing from the top of my head to the soles of my feet.” That’s what I believed, and that’s what I said.”

And so he continued to speak. The Lord continued to lead him through scriptures and revelation. Then one day, on the second Tuesday of August 1934, after being on the bed of sickness for 16 months, the Spirit of God spoke to him. He told him, “well people ought to be up at this time of the morning.”

I felt no different – but the Lord spoke to him. He pulled those dead legs over the side of the bed. His feet hit the floor like two chunks of wood. He still felt no different. He was not moved by what things looked like or what he felt. God had led him to this point. He pulled himself to a standing position – tottering there by faith. In that moment – he felt something like warm honey hit him on the head and move down his body. He was healed.

That mountain of sickness, that daunting obstacle of the doctors diagnosis, that deformed heart and blood disease where all changed – removed – by the power of the faith of God through the confession of a saint.

He did not waver at what his body said. He made his body – his mouth – speak God’s Word. SAY SAY SAY SAY! SPEAK THE WORD OF GOD! YOU CAN HAVE WHAT YOU SAY!!!
